2025 My thoughts on the Nintendo Switch 2!

Hi everyone, I know it has been a while since I uploaded a Nintendo Switch game review. I am trying to work on this blog again and get back into the rhythm of it. However, today I wanted to talk about the Nintendo Switch 2 and why I think it is a waste of money right now. Back when it was announced on January 16th, 2025, I was excited at first; however, that soon turned into dread upon hearing more details. Such as the price right now, which is $449, which is crazy to think about. When the Nintendo Switch OLED came out, it was priced at $350, which is a lot cheaper; however, it is not in 4k.  The second main complaint I have about the Nintendo Switch 2 is that a few games are doing the game key card idea, which in my opinion is so brain dead. Why Nintendo is going down this road is beyond me. I would also like to say that Nintendo is starting to price their games at different prices, which is not helpful for consumers. Such as Donkey Kong Bananza, which costs $70, not to ment...

The 5 Most anticipated Games I want to review

I would say number 1 is Pokemon Violet and Scarlet. The new Pokemon look very well designed. As well as the story and open-world look, they are very cool too. Plus, the online component seems to still be played online. Even if this game is 3 years old, it still seems like a great time to me.

The next one is Pokemon Z-A; the city seems cool to run around and explore there is also the fact that you can rank up. Other youtubers such as Austin John Plays and Oneyplays, have already played it. Lots of my favorite Pokemon have also come back in this game.

Metroid Prime 4 looks cool as well, with a vast open world. Even if the game has been in development for a long time, it is nice to see that it is finally out. However, I have heard there are some flaws with it, such as the open desert section, and the voice acting can be a bit cringy. However, there is a new story with a returning villain as well as new puzzles to be solved.

Mario Tennis Fever: I have loved the Mario Sports Games ever since the first one I played, which was Mario golf for the 3ds. Mario Tennis Aces back on the original Switch is a great time for all kinds of people. The story was great; there were loads of characters to choose from, and online play had no lag whatsoever.

The last game I want to review is Pragmata. This one has a demo on all consoles as of right now. The game looks graphically impressive; the gameplay looks very well done with the hacking and shooting. Now the story still seems very mysterious with the little girl that accompanies you throughout the adventure. Capcom is great at telling narrative stories in their games, such as Resident Evil or even Devil May Cry.
