Bioshock 2 Remastered Review for Switch
Bioshock 2 is a very good game that seems to be forgotten during 2010 or years past. I cannot blame people either; there have been better games during the year of 2010. A few notable examples are Red Dead Redemption, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and even Super Mario Galaxy 2. Even if this is the case, it is still an action-packed shooter game that is a sequel to Bioshock, which is one great game. Bioshock 2 takes place in Rapture in 1968, about ten years after the ending of the first game. This time, however, you play as a Big Daddy named Subject Delta. In the story you have to rescue your daughter, who is Eleanor Lamb. While fighting through splicers and walking around the ocean floor.
There are a few new ideas in this game, such as the big sisters and splicers that are big-named brutes. Also, the game comes with both of the DLCs. How much does the game cost? The game costs around $20 USD and will sometimes go on sale, or you can buy the Bioshock Collection. Which is $50. Here are the pros and cons of the game.
- Pro: The game runs pretty well on the system; it is locked at 30 fps while running smoothly on handheld.
- Pro: New places to see in Rapture, such as the Atlantic Express depot and Dionysus Park.
- Pro: The music still feels amazing while roaming around in rapture.
- Pro: Comes with the Minerva's Den DLC.
- Con: Not really that scary compared to the first game. Also, it can be very confusing on where to go next.
(here is some gameplay.)
Overall the game is great with a few flaws. The target audience would be around teenagers to adults who like dystopian action-packed games. My rating would be 9/10.
