L.A. Noire Switch Review
L.A. Noire is an action detective game developed by Rockstar Games. It originally came out on May 17, 2011, then was eventually remastered for the Xbox One and PS4. The game is about Cole Phelps, who has returned from World War 2 and gets a job as a rookie cop. Eventually he gets promoted and becomes a detective to solve cases. In the game Cole Phelps sometimes takes down street crimes that happen when driving around Los Angeles. Cole Phelps climbs the ranks from traffic to homicide, eventually to arson cases. There are tonnes of collectibles, such as golden records, film reels, and more. What is interesting to me is that the film reels are real movies based around the same time period. An example is the house of bamboo.
The game costs around $50 USD. Here are the pros and cons of the game.
- Pro: It is a big open world game with tons of classic cars to drive.
- Pro: The soundtrack is high quality from Rockstar the main theme of the game is very memorable.
- Pro: comes with all past DLC such as new cases and finding 20 hidden police badges around the city.
- Pro: has touch screen controls.
- Pro: the acting is impressive.
- Con: The Graphics are a little old.
Here is some quick gameplay
Overall I would recommend L.A. Noire. For people who like Rockstar games or mystery games. My rating would be 8/10.
