2025 My thoughts on the Nintendo Switch 2!

 Hi everyone, I know it has been a while since I uploaded a Nintendo Switch game review. I am trying to work on this blog again and get back into the rhythm of it. However, today I wanted to talk about the Nintendo Switch 2 and why I think it is a waste of money right now. Back when it was announced on January 16th, 2025, I was excited at first; however, that soon turned into dread upon hearing more details. Such as the price right now, which is $449, which is crazy to think about. When the Nintendo Switch OLED came out, it was priced at $350, which is a lot cheaper; however, it is not in 4k.  The second main complaint I have about the Nintendo Switch 2 is that a few games are doing the game key card idea, which in my opinion is so brain dead. Why Nintendo is going down this road is beyond me. I would also like to say that Nintendo is starting to price their games at different prices, which is not helpful for consumers. The Legend of Zelda breath of the wild Switch Review

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an open-world RPG game. You play as Link, who must save Princess Zelda from Calamity Ganon, who wants to end the world. There is so much to do in the Hyrule kingdom, like hunting animals and finding treasure. What is new in this game is that there are these big mechanical creatures called the Divine Beasts; each race has one from the Rito, Gorons, Zora, and Gerudo. You must free them from Calamity Ganon to help aid you in the fight.

 
There are towns to explore and the castle ruins. At beginning of the game you will not have good weapons and the map will be unfilled.  find some good weapons you should visit shrines. Which will not only give you treasure but also spirit orbs so you can increase your maximum health and stamina. You also should climb the towers each one you activate will fill out some of the map. How much does the game cost? The game costs about $60. Here are the pros and cons of the game. The game even comes with dlc like costumes from previous games and a new Divine Beast.
  • Pro: The map is massive with towns, ruins, and little secrets.
  • Pro: The game music is amazing from birds to the final fight of the game.
  • Pro: Various quests and shrines to complete.
  • Pro: a bunch of collectibles to get example: Korok seeds and medals of honor.
  •  Con: weapons break unlike other Zelda games.
  •  Con: Can sometimes be a pain to get to the other sides of the map without fast travel.
 
   
   Overall the target audience would be for anyone who wants to experience The legend of Zelda with something brand new and expansive story and map. Or people who never played a Zelda game.
My rating is 10/10 One of the best legend of Zelda games in my opinion.
